How We Started
Sunny Ocean beach towels are artisanally produced in Bozburun, Turkey, a small town by the Aegean Sea. Not only are these towels designed for luxury enjoyment in the sun; embedded within the fibers of the fabric is a love story
The duo that initiated it all, Leyla and Emre. Leyla operated a small shop on the beach vending towels she handcrafted with care. One day, Leyla met a young man named Emre while working. A spark of immediate attraction between them resulted in love at first sight. To honor their affection, Emre expanded the distribution of Leyla's beach towels by relocating them to Los Angeles, California. Together, they founded the Sunny Ocean brand, aiming for each beach towel to serve as a testimony of love to enhance couples' enjoyment under the sun.
Each towel exudes unique charm, displaying rich design elements through distinctive patterns and colors. Experience the beauty of the Aegean Sea with Sunny Ocean beach towels, bringing warmth and joy to you and your partner. Discover the unwritten love story within your towel.
Currently, Sunny Ocean's beach towels are globally renowned and preferred by countless travelers. We believe every love story is worth cherishing, and every Sunny Ocean beach towel is worth having!

Why Turkish Cotton?
Turkish cotton outperforms the primary cotton fiber, upland cotton, utilized in 90% of cotton-based items.
Turkish cotton strands are long, enhancing fabric durability and softness. The length of the fibers coupled with a tight weave make the cotton strong and smooth, which allow our towels to repel sand. Due to its lightweight nature, the towel is easily compactible for travel. Not only do our towels get softer after each wash, but water absorbency increases as well.
Our quick dry material allows for multiple daily uses of the towel. For instance, emerging from the pool to dry off, followed by taking a shower. The towel will be dry and available for reuse after your shower.
The cotton is cultivated exclusively in the Aegean Region of Turkey. It is ethically produced by the local artisans of the region. This cotton has significantly lower environmental impact than standard cotton, needing less water and pesticides to grow.
